“food is excellent despite it being a buffet. Staff esp F&B manager went out of their way to help. They also do a small family & stroller-friendly hike (optional as a long hike over rough terrain) once a week up the mountain with a typical mountain lunch "picnic". There's apparently a great playground and "abenteuerspielplatz" on the grounds but my kids didn't get past the indoor and outdoor pools and slides. There are a few family friendly mountain outings nearby (5-30min drive) - hiking, boating, outdoor playgrounds, eg gondola up to Wagrain & Geisterberg. The hotel makes packed lunches available for hikers as well as to those who have long drive back home. Inside the hotel there's also an interactive work of art, a wooden ball (fits marbles) track that goes 2stories down along the staircase.”
