“Staff were friendly. My husband and I had a balcony and view was absolutely beautiful. Location was close to town. I was informed the hotel is going through a remodel and will turn into a Clarion. Should be completed by next year. The continental breakfast was located in the back office. I was a little doubtful in the beginning but the gal made an egg, sausage and tater breakfast that was delicious.”
“Front desk person was helpful after manager declined our request tochange our stay. My wife was injured six days before our scheduled stayand manager said that there would be no refund because it was past theone week notice. After treatment, my wife was able to fly and with thehelp of the front desk person, we were able to transfer our stay fromSunday to Thursday. The facility was possibly 20% booked, so I know thatwe didn't cause them to lose business.”
“They got it right ! The shower was spacious with great water pressure, the bed was soft, the view from room 115 out onto Tongass straights was GREAT, and the room was relatively spacious. Also, the on-site restaurant, Edgewater Inn, had surprisingly good 4-star dining. We will definitely stay here again :)”

Even though this establishment is a little out of the main hub of town, the shuttle staff were very helpful and we had no issues with getting into town. We used the convenient bus route for our return after our day out. ”
