“Good location, if you drive a car. It took us only 35 min to get to Strasbourg from the hotel. Good breakfast. We had a late check-in, it was possible and we got inside the room without any problem. It is good place for intermediate state in the long trip, I would recommend this hotel more for business trips.”

“The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It looked out on some very pretty houses and on the little rivulet that runs through the town. There was a minibar, a tv and even a tablet for our use. The bathroom was fine, very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and even offered us a lift to the station but, as it's only a ten minute walk and the day was fine, we preferred to walk and enjoy our last look at this beautiful town.They also allowed us to leave our luggage there on our last day so we could go for a long walk and have lunch before leaving. The breakfast was excellent value for money abd I would recommend you to take that option --although the pastries in the bakeries nearby were also very tempting!”

“I loved this hotel and the town of Gengenbach. Christie at the hotel is amazing. She speaks English, German and from what i could tell Spanish. All our needs were met and the breakfast was great. This is a fantastic location to explore the Black Forest region. Christie went out of her way to make sure we had a great time. She printed out train schedules for us and made sure all our questions were answered.”

“We were on holiday to the Black Forest Area of Germany, we chose Gengenbach because of the proximity to Freiberg and Triberg and of course cheap hotels. But to our surprise not only this small town was a fascinating place with very less tourists, but actually it turned out to be one of the best parts of our trip. The Hotel was simply the best value for money hotel I have been in Europe. Very High Praise for the Inn Keeper who was very warm and welcoming hostess and the place is immaculately clean with all modern amenities. But reminding you its around 25 mins walk from the Train station but, My wife and I loved the town and sights so much that the 25 mins was too short for us :).”
