“The couple Bertrand and Claude are most welcoming, as is their large dog who is very friendly, the breakfast with home made Yoghurt/Compote/etc was truly delicious and excellent value for money”

“We stayed here on the way down to Switzerland. We were a little worried about being next to the road but the room was actually very quiet. 10 minutes walk into the town centre with a variety of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best on our three week trip. As a classic car owner I hadn't realised they had such secure parking, bonus for my 9 year old son was getting to sit in one of the guests Rolls Royce Corniche. We will certainly stay here again, there seems to be plenty to do in the area so not just for a stopover. I'm really glad I didn't just book a chain hotel :-)”

“The hotel is an old house which is full of antique furniture which we loved. The patrons were very welcoming and very relaxed. They explained the local area very welll to us so that we could find a suitable place to eat with the children. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is off the motorway in a small town which is beautiful. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breaksfast choices included locally sourced jams and fresh fruit which added a homely feel to our stay. I would definitely stay there again.”

“This was such a lovely surprise. We are on a road trip through France and stayed at a few other 2 star hotels so wasn't expecting much. Was delighted when I arrived and wished I could have stayed longer. This charming B&B has been one of the highlights for me. I felt like I was in a French movie. Just lovely and breaks fast outside was a delight. Hosts were friendly and helpful.”

“We turned up late, although we did email the hotel via booking.com, this message wasn't passed on. This meant the hotel was in darkness by the time we arrived, the hotel looked very spooky ! We called them direct to see if we could still stay. We had also requested an extra room that they didn't seem to know about but there was no problem as they had a spare room anyway. Absolutely no problems, the owners were very friendly & accommodating. The decor in the hotel is lovely. the owners have done a great job.”

“Very friendly and helpful proprietors. Very individual style, a traditional French hotel. Rooms large, clean and comfortable with good en suite bathroom. Excellent breakfast with homemade and local produce. Short walk to centre of town with good value restaurants.”

“Lovely garden and our room had its own small part shaded terrace with table and chairs. Also had breakfast in the garden. Handy for town, just 5 mins walk which is important at places which dont have their own restaurant.”

“We were made to feel really welcome at this very french and quirky hotel. The owners were so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, beds very comfortable and the ensuite was huge (we loved the shower gel!) We liked the homeliness, and attention to detail. The breakfast was very good with excellent coffee, local produce and home made jam. Perfect for an overnight stop en-route from the Alps. We would definitely stay there again.”
