“Staff welcoming and friendly. Good choice of menus. Parking was very good and welcome after long drive.”

“Lovely venue and I was really pleased with the hotel accommodation. My room was warm and clean and spacious too. The shower was brilliant ( I was not expecting such a powerful hot shower) and again the bathroom was warm too. I was warned that the wifi wasn't working very well in the rooms but I did manage to pick up some connection which was great. The bar wifi was fine. I ate in the bar - the gammon meal I had was huge! And delicious! All the food coming out looked good. I also felt comfortable enough eating and drinking alone in the bar which was important as a lone female traveller. Staff were all friendly. I didn't get to sample the cooked breakfast as I was still full from the previous night, but I received some delicious toast and a good pot of tea instead! Definitely recommended and I would stay again.”

“It was excellent. The only problem was light in the bedroom and a slightly too firm mattress for me. However everything else made up for this.”

“I did not notice or look at the Vegetarian option as I am not Vegetarian so can't help you on that one sorry! We had a great full English Breakfast nicely cooked well presented. Super helpful and friendly staff which makes you feel valued and willing to return to a place if you are in the area again.”
