“Location friendliness price breakfast ambience all 5 star”
“Great location. Arrived early but our bags were looked after for us. Got lucky and got a parking spot in small hotel car park. Friendly staff. Good breakfast freshly cooked. Got a deal on price as well.”
“We really enjoyed our 3 nights over New Year in this hotel, which has such a welcoming "feel" as soon as you enter. We loved the brilliant location - just a few minutes walk to the cathedral, shops, pubs and restaurants (of which there were plenty!), a very large and comfortable bed, the friendly staff, cocktails and the lively New Year's Eve party - it was a lovely surprise to find tickets in our room. Free on-site parking was such a bonus, too.”
“The staff was great they had run out of pasties for breakfast and they was happy to make more fresh for me”
“Position excellent. Annex room lovely and quiet. Staff friendly. Breakfasts good but cold plates for not very hot cooked breakfast. Tinned fruit salad disappointing when fresh fruit available in other hotels. Odd that booking with booking.com is cheaper than direct with the Falstaff”
“Fab hotel, staff friendly and the bar/restaurant was very trendy, had some lovely cocktails! Room was small but perfectly clean and snug great value for money, location excellent.”
“Situation. Breakfast allright. Premises almost antique: bedrooms situated in separate building: partly refurbished woodmill.”
“The reception, bar and restaurant area is done up in such a great style so was a very nice welcome. The parking was easy and really helpful for us to be able to travel by car and not have to pay for parking. The bed was extremely comfortable and was in a quiet area so had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was really nice and glad that it was included in the price.”
“The hotel had a good atmosphere and first impressions when entering were very pleasing.”
“Advertised as the best breakfast in Canterbury. This was an average breakfast served in any hotel.”
