Important Notice
- Please note that the Penang City Council has imposed a tax of MYR 3 per room per night, payable directly to the hotel upon check in.<br><br>A prepayment deposit equivalent to 1 night's stay is required upon booking for bookings made for 5 rooms or more.<br>A tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.<p>Please inform The Light Hotel Penang in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.</p><p>A damage deposit of MYR 200 is required upon arrival. That's about 36.25GBP. This deposit is fully refundable upon check out as long as there has been no damage to the property.</p>

“The have arranged the rooms exactly as per my requests - 2 rooms connected and the 3rd room next to it. This is so convenient to ensure the safety of my children. They even allowed us to check in before 2.00 pm !!! It is very rare for a 5 Star Hotel to do this . And customer service provided by all staff were awesome - every single person that we met . Starting from the time we check in till we check out !!!”
