“Welcome was warm and friendly. Bit of a surprise to find that we were out in the annex. Was told that with fewer people in on the weekends it is less expensive to heat the annex than the main hotel. The annex worked fine but it wasn't the 'magic' we had expected of the older style hotel. Location was good: just across the road from Lidl; on a convenient major town road; near the railway station; and an easy walk to town centre. The High Street isn't much, though St Gile's Church and the history boards around it were interesting - learnt about Yetts and Tofts; certainly South Street has a lot more to offer. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble.”

“Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 1. Stock des Nebengebäudes. Es war äußerst geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Es war an diesem Tag kalt und regnerisch und die Heizung hat sehr gut funktioniert. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Die Unterkunft liegt an einer befahrenen Hauptstraße trotzdem war es nicht wirklich laut. Vor dem Haus kann man bequem parken, das ist prima.”
