“We had a lovely room with a huge bay window with a stunning view of the sea and the abbey. The old town was a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The town of Whitby is really nice with lots of shops, bars and restaurants and narrow streets. We walked along the clifftop footpath to Robin Hoods Bay. The views from the clifftops are breathtaking and the walk took about 2 1/2 hours then caught the bus back to Whity”
