Rushing streams, Clingman's Dome, the Appalachian Trail and the hushed beauty of Cades Cove are just a short drive away. Those with less of an outdoorsy bent can shop the factory outlets in nearby Pigeon Forge and the specialty shops in Gatlinburg, or spend the day in Dollywood, a combination amusement park/craftsman's showcase/country music shrine.
