“It is a very Chinese oriented hotel which is about 10 minutes walk from TRA Taichung train station. Coming out from the old station exit, keep left and cross the street and walk straight to the hotel. By the way, there is a new TRA train station just beside the old station which is now not in use. We have 2 double-beds which are clean and comfortable. The 28m2 room size is adequately big enough for 3 of us. It is big enough to have a armchair and writing table. Safe deposit box is provided. Wifi speed is acceptable. Bathroom is clean and has all the usual toothbrush, bath towels and hair dryer. Kettle and sachets of coffee and tea are provided. Complimentary bottled water provided daily. Many eateries within walking distance from hotel. The very popular Miyahara (宮原眼科) which housebrand ice-cream is a hit for tourists is just across the street from 53 Hotel.”
“The hotel is located right in front of the train station which means that transportation is very convenience. Staffs are very nice and room is big and clean. Shopping and dining is within a walking distance. The famous night market is located few stations away but is very easy to reach by train. Price is very reasonable. Breakfast is very basic, not much choice. But there is a very famous ice-cream and souvenir shop next to the hotel. A place that is a must to visit. Waffle is so good and the price is cheap!”
