“Staff and Chef wonderful. Flexible with diet restrictions and all the time delicious meals. Lots of choice on large and varied menu. Lovely family owned hotel. Felt completely welcome and extremely well taken care of. Renovated room wonderful.”
“Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Very scenic surrounding area.”
“Friendly, helpful staff. Good blend of traditional charm in common areas & quality modern facilities in the room (great shower). Excellent food & beer. Even has a pool !”
“The hotel combines a traditional look for the dining room and reception area with very nicely renovated contemporary rooms. The single room was not too big but not cramped either. Quiet, clean, with all the amenities you need for your stay. Breakfast was excellent, good scrambled eggs and coffee and a wide choice of other food. Your bike is safe in a closed garage.”
“Clean comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast and evening meals. Helpful friendly staff. ”
“Historic old hotel. Had a cool little Biergarten out back with an old street car serving as a bar. Breakfast was solidly good. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant which was truly fabulous. Secure bike storage. Good access to the old town and three minutes from the Weser bike path... very convenient.”
“Nice hotel, friendly staff, good food and a very good price / quality ratio.”
“The owners and staff are fantastic. Food is just superb!”
“Overall it is a well run hotel with friendly staff who are keen to provide your stay as welcome as possible. The hotel is an older oak beamed style building but with modern fitted bedrooms. The restaurant with additional outside dinning in summer months serves a broad range of delicious meals to suit every taste. Located on a busy high street which has cafes, shops, supermarket etc and a short walk the the beautiful river is a bonus.”
“Nice old building, but with recently renovated rooms with modern facilities. Friendly staff and we could lock up our bikes over night. Breakfast was a nice selection and the scrambled eggs were particularly good.”
