“Active Life was absolutely perfect!! The room was great, the staff were awesome! Breakfast and dinner was awesome, and super convient. The beer bar was great, buy 6 beers and get a free shirt! Buy 2 beers and get one free! Also had a great bar food menu. Active life is for sure one of our favorite places in Nagano. Across the street from ski lifts at Mt. Madarao, which was a great spot to snowboard. Great nightly rates and offers lift tickets! Overall great place!!”

“Very nice area for skiing and very nice staff in the hotel, very helpful in everything. Have ski hire at the same place, a bar and a restaurant. Room was big enough for 4 of us. Bus stop around the corner and walking distance to the ski field. Tree skiing is great. Definitively return next year.”
“Staff and facilities were excellent as was the very close proximity to the ski lifts. The new renovated rooms had, without doubt, the most comfortable bed in Japan. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. Restaurant and bar onsite is a nice change for those nights where you don't want to go out.”

“I'm normally not one to leave reviews but Active Life was perfect. Fantastic location with super welcoming and helpful staff and perfectly renovated new rooms. The 'Tap That' bar was also fantastic and a great way to relax after a hard day's skiing. After of course a relaxing session in the onsen or your own private and spacious bathtub! Couldn't speak more highly of the place, the staff and my trip there. After moving on to Akakura Onsen, can't help but wish I'd stayed even longer in Active Life. Will definately be back.”
