“We loved this hotel which has lots of character in its lovely shady garden and in its cosy areas to sit indoors. Staff were very helpful when we needed an early breakfast. The evening meals were varied and really good as well as being fairly inexpensive. This is a comfortable hotel, and we liked that it is a little scruffy with threadbare carpets, but it is clean and cared for.”
