“Very nice & helpful staff - especially Santosh, the manager. We initially were in a ground floor room, which is dark. Without our requesting it, Santosh offered to move us upstairs to a bright, sunny room. The rooms are well maintained and clean with comfortable beds. AC worked well. Breakfast on the roof was very good: 8 kinds of delicious local fruits and 6 hot dishes. Location is excellent in the heart of Stone Town. Airport pick up was great -and provided free of charge as a booking genius perk. The staff booked a taxi to Jambiani on the east coast for us - at a much better rate than the resort on Jambiani offered. Overall, excellent value!”

“The staff is just great. They will advise the money exchange with the best rates, where to go for drinks and what's the schedule for public transport. They organised an airport pick-up as part of our genius privileges. The rooms are airconditioned and clean. Breakfast exceeded all expectations. Location is also superb. Could not recommend more.”

“My wife, our 2 year old son and I stayed here for 4 nights to explore Stone Town. The rooms are small but sufficiently equipped and the staff is very friendly and considerate. We had a bit of a rocky start upon arrival, as our warm water didn't work and then the aircon had a malfunction. The hotel crew located us to a different room and all went well. Good breakfast, child friendly staff, location very good”
