“The location was perfect. We had to search for some time to find parking. The host was very friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant with a view of the church bell tower and courtyard. We were given a discount card for things to do in Locarno. Breakfast was ok but could have been a bit better.”
“The staff was helpful and had initiative to offer information about the Ticino area. We were pleasantly surprised with the Ticino card issued for our stay which covers free bus/train rides and sizeable discounts for ferries and cable/chair lift/funicular rides in the Ticino district. Big tks!”
“Breakfast is not included but you can purchase for 5 CHF. Our room had a window on the street and was sometimes noisy (people, not cars). The location is great in the old part of the city near sites and shopping.”
“Lovely comfortable room that overlooked the city roof tops. The bathroom was new and the shower powerful. Church bells woke us ( not too early!) Situated very close to the Grande Piazza and surrounded by great eating places and shops. It has character. There is thought put into your stay; for example towels are available if you choose to go for a swim in the lake, tea and coffee facilities are available in the lounge area if you wish.”
