“Albergo Verdi is located in the very centre of Palermo, on walking distance to the old historical centre and the more modern shopping area on the Via Della Liberta. Around the Piazza Verdi are lots and lots of smal streets with restaurants. After 10:00 the Via Maqueda is closed for all cars and becomes a pedestrianized street. We had a great time in Albergo Verdi, heplfull staff en great service.”
“Very friendly owner; Made us feel like visiting family; Gave us many sightseeing recommendations in the mornings and checked in the evenings how it was; Breakfast was also very good with freshly made espresso and cappuccino. Remarks: We actually enjoyed finding someone who was so enthusiastically speaking in Italian to us as if we were natives, even though our responses were rather simplistic, as we invented some Italian derived from our knowledge of other Latin based languages. However, if you only speak English it might be more difficult.”
