“Our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and provided a very good night's sleep. The bathroom was very good except for the lack of a mirror. Hard to shave without one! If you just want a place to get a good night's sleep, then this hotel is fine. Overall it offers very good value for money.”

“The room was well equipped & clean, especially the kitchenette with microwave, double hob, kettle, sink, fridge & crockery/cutlery. Lots of tea / coffee / milk & biscuits replenished daily. Beds were comfy, with clean linen along with clean towels when required. Breakfast was good with all the usual items, which you could change to your choice, they also offered omelettes which I had twice, they were very nice too!. The staff were nice but unobtrusive, and there when / if needed. The hotel is on the promenade near the pier/ lake / casino and close to the theatre. Our room [14] was on the ground floor, its a twin with a view of the pier, the bathroom is small but equipped with new fittings. We had a pleasant 5 night stay in the 'Albert & Victoria' hotel.”
“Receptionist (possibly the owner) was very helpful and friendly. The hotel location was perfect for our stay, being just around the corner from where we were attending a party. The tea and coffee provided in our room was plentiful, always welcome after travelling.”
“Bedroom clean and comfortable; the dining room large and airy with lovely staff and welcome, food well cooked and good selection. The kitchenette was a great asset but could do with a tea towel and washing up cloth being provided for visitors. Very close to the marine park, pier, arcade, restaurants and city centre.”
