“The hotel was gorgeous. The marble that the local area is renowned for is used everywhere in the hotel and it makes it truly unique. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was large and also comfortable, the air-conditioning, was quiet and made for a cool nights sleep, the bathroom was truly decadent in it's size with so much space, not to mention a huge walk in shower and double sinks. Fully outfitted in marble of course. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the Spa! The Spa was just lush. The food when we dined in the restaurant was superb and the choice of wines impressive. Breakfast was plentiful with so much to choose from. Vila Vicosa itself is a gem and we spent 2 days just walking around and soaking up the place.”
