“This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at this hotel. It's an excellent base in the heart of Desenzano close to the ferries for touring the lake. Our room this time had a feature 4 poster bed and bath that was set at the rear of the property, which meant the noise from the busy street and piazza was kept to a minimum. We have always found the staff willing, very helpful and anxious to please. The food is of a high standard in the Trattoria with plenty of variety. If you want to enjoy a leisurely stay in a traditional Italian hotel whose restaurant is used as much by locals as guests then this is worth a go. It's nearly always busy so there there is lots of atmosphere to take in whilst spending a relaxed evening enjoying your meal. We will definitely go back again. The staff are hard working and friendly, but don't expect it always to be slick - that is not what we think this hotel is about - it's about taking time to enjoy yourself.”
