“Really fantastic stay at Amari Galle. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are amazing. Would love to come back some day! The fort is not too far away, just a short ride by Tuk Tuk, always drivers out the front of the hotel which makes things easy. All staff were great with lots of tips for things to do.”
“Everything! The staff were absolutely fab, warm, gracious and kind. Ama and her colleagues are the most amazing and professional kind hotel staff I have ever come across. I lost my phone in Galle Fort in a TukTUk and they made everything ok. Just by being kind at a time of distress in a foreign country. I found my phone eventually. But Amari staff were excellent. I would go back there. The pool and the beach were also amazing.”

“The breakfast was excellent with huge number of choices. The baked goodies were "home-made" and very tasty. There was unlimited coconut water for breakfast! The asian food corner served excellent fried noodles. The roof-top bar was also very good, with nice view and excellent atmosphere. The selection of cocktails were great, and as they claimed, everything is possible (stated in the menu: if they don't know how to make your wished cocktail, they will google it!). The ocean-view room has great view. The bed is comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, especially Amaa and Chamesh at the reception. The room service was good. The facilities are well maintained and the swimming pool is clean.”
“NEW Amari 5* Hotel, just opened in July 2017 Beautiful hotel with direct beach access, wonderful pool Very friendly, charming staff, they really take care Own driver took me to the Dutch Fort, Sea Turtle Hatchery Centre, Mahamodara, Galle (please support this wonderful family, taking care of injured sea turtles !!!), outstanding snorkling tour at Unawatuna - Jungle Beach! Food was excellent! Breakfast, inroom dining, lunch outside at the pool area, delicious! MUST try the Kind Coconut!”
“Room was great. Comfortable clean and with nice view. The hotel is supposed to be new but there is lots of West and tear. The shower and bathroom especially. The shower gel and shampoo was watered down and of poor quality. Conditioner was non existent. The prices for food and drink were extortionate, even for a big hotel. And when we did eat they didn’t bring our food up at the same time and it wasn’t very nice. Pool was nice and staff were lovely. Especially pool staff”
