“The staff was amazing. We were supposed to only be there one night (ended up being 4) to cruise out of Galveston, but due to Harvey our plans didn't pan out. The cruise was canceled and we were unable to leave the hotel due to flooded roads. The owner made sure we had our rooms saved for us on a day-to-day basis. Even the day we left, they told us they would hold our rooms until they heard from us that we made out of the flooded areas. They allowed us to have "movie night" in the lobby. One night we played Moana, and another night Jurassic World. Our group of 14 spent most of our time in the lobby playing games. One of the staff, Vicki, even brought in activities for our kids to do. Crayons, coloring books, games, etc.... The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable and there are no words to describe the level of service we received from the lobby staff. If I ever go back to the area, this is definitely where my family and I will be staying!”
