“Larger more expensive hotel feel in a smaller town/setting for a great price! Hotel staff from front desk to housekeeping were very nice and made you feel very welcome. Hotel is quiet and I felt very safe stepping outside late in the evening to take a walk around the grounds. Restaurants and shopping very close for convenience. Looking forward to returning to try out the steakhouse next door to the hotel. Locals said their food is excellent.”

The hotel seemed clean, even if it is a bit dated for the furnishings.....that's okay if it's clean & free of bugs in my book. I like that it's one of the nicer hotels in southern Ohio all the way down thru Portsmouth. It's what I'd call a Working-man's hotel....reasonably priced, nothing really fancy, adequate & good for families too. We'll return there if in the area. We've stayed here in the past under other chain names. This ownership is doing alright with it. Good access to highway, restaurants, & stores.”
