“Staff were not particularly friendly - surprising as the rest of the population of Amsterdam were very kind, polite & welcoming. The room was modern, clean and spacious. The WIFI & TV were flaky, but we didn't spend a lot of time there tbh. There is a lovely shopping street opposite, with an Aldi, supermarket & plenty of shops. There's also a good market on Fridays. The eco-restaurant on the corner did a fantastic breakfast. Location was good - a no9 tram was close & frequent - took us straight to the heart of the city. Watch out for the bikes - they are EVERYWHERE & make crossing the streets a bit of a challenge. A fantastic place to visit - quite pricy but very tourist-friendly.”

“very friendly staff, they are solving fast your problems, nice and quite location inside the park, Tropen Museum next to it, many shops , pubs and restaurants close, tram station close, easy and fast to reach downtown, good for turists to be able to check their luggage weight before going to the airport because hotel has a scale available in the lobby, comfortable beds”
“Breakfast was good, with a decent range of options available. The breakfast room is light and airy has a great view out over Oosterpark. The location is brilliant, only a few minutes from the centre of town on public transport, but out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas.”

“We needed an inexpensive hotel to spend the night before moving to a new apartment. We know Amsterdam well, and think this hotel is a super good choice for business or pleasure. This is not a luxury hotel, but a great choice if you want a good room and a comfortable bed. We had a park view, which was beautiful and quiet. You can open the window for fresh air. The room was small, but well designed with plenty of space to reach the bed and desk. This is the reason I give this hotel such a high mark. I will definitely tell people visiting us to use this hotel. It's also a fine hotel for tourists.”
