“Loved the availability of beer/wine and chocolate at front desk. Staff was very accommodating when we wanted late night tea. It was our anniversary and they had champagne waiting in the room for us!”
“This property has undergone amazing transformations. The antique estate collection in the lobby adds to the overall cozy and pleasant atmosphere of this hotel. The breakfast is quite good as well. I always stay here when in Ashland.”
“We adore this historic hotel in every imaginable way: location, lobby, architecture, decor, scrumptious beds, mezzanine tea and snacks, cozy rooms, immaculate bathroom, great smelling soap. Being able to park once and walk to plays, park, dining and shopping makes this a perfect getaway that we’ve repeated many times.”
“Not great value for money. Except for location very old and outdated.”
“We have visited the Shakespeare Festival a number of times and always wanted to stay here. This Historical hotel is close to everything. The parking is convenient and passage through it drops you right into the OSF theatres. The lobby is so comfortable with elegant decor. The continental breakfast exceeded our expectations with an egg dish everyday. Beautiful hidden little garden patio where we took our breakfast and drank a glass of wine in the evening.”
“The location, right next to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival grounds, was ideal, as I was attending numerous plays during my stay.”
“The continental breakfast was wonderful. Scrambled eggs, Yukon potatoes, bagels and fresh fruit and noble coffee”
“Bed was very comfortable...it was intimate...the location was perfect!”
“The location is right in the middle of the downtown area of Ashland & short walks to all restaurants ! The property has lots of charm.”
“Beautifully refurbished hotel located stone's throw from theaters. Rooms are often small but comfortable all the same. Staff is helpful without being overbearing. Affiliated restaurant located next door is top quality.”
