“When they say they are up a hill outside the town of Briancon what they mean is half way up a ten thousand foot mountain! Not the easiest of directions but if you just keep trusting the sat nav and going up you eventually come to it - but wow, is it worth it when you get there. Views over the whole of the town far below, and four stunning Alpine valleys. Great air too! Tiny mountain village. Madam was lovely and the food pretty good, if not too much choice.”
