“This is a very authentic Moroccan place to stay, previously a Koran school. The owners are really friendly, helpful and informative; they can arrange all sorts of trips into the desert. It is a delightful place, a lovely garden in the desert, lots of interesting artefacts, good food, slightly shabby, but it all adds to the charm.”

“We got a very friendly welcome from Mustafa, and our dinner was prepared and served to our preference. We got talking to his brother Ahmed, and ended up hiring him to guide us for the next two days to take the piste via Lake Iriki and Erg Chegaga to M'hamid and Zagora. We stayed in their bivouac in the dunes at Erg Chegaga overnight. I would certainly stay at l'Oasis again if travelling to Foum Zguid.”
