“We received a hugely friendly welcome - the most welcoming of all the 9 hotels that we stayed in in Japan from all the staff and particularly from the hotel manager who spoke English very well. The food was excellent and the menu was adjusted to suit our needs. On both evenings the first plate was decorated in chocolate, artistically designed to specifically welcome a guest from England.”
“Schöne alte Bank (mit Bankhalle), die umfunktioniert wurde. Nach drei Nächten wurde ich zum Nachtessen eingeladen. Auf meinen Wunsch hin gab es auch nur vegetarische Gänge. Zwei drei kleine neue Restaurants und Kaffees, die gleich hinter dem Hotel eröffnet haben. Storchpark in der Nähe. Lounge mit kostenfreien Getränken aller Art.”

“建物が良かった。昔の建物がそのまま残っている部分はとても良い。老舗の宿が文化財になっているケースはあるが、本来宿ではない建物が宿泊施設として再利用されるというのは面白いと感じる。ロケーションは商店街の只中にあってあまり良いとは言えないが、全く気にならない。 時間の制限はあるが、城崎温泉への送迎があるのも有難い。 部屋にテレビがない。これはこのホテルに於いてはかえって良いことと思う。エントランスを見渡せるセルフバーもあり、ゆっくりと過ごしてもらおうという気持ちが感じられる。 山間の穏やかな地域に合った宿と思う。”
