The Patron is a mine of information on the wines he holds and will talk for ages, if you wish, as he is genuinely passionate about his wines. They can also be purchased `off sale` at cellar door prices. The decor is very `homely` and nice quality and complements the ambience. A real find in a world that is more and more homogenised.”

“Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstrasse des Ortes, es ist nicht zu verfehlen. Der Ort ist klein und ruhig, daher ist das kein Problem. Das gebuchte Zimmer war ordentlich, wenn auch etwas klamm. Dafür haben wir in dem dazugehörigen Restaurant Abends wirklich gut gegessen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, bis auf die Chefin, die, wahrscheinlich aufgrund ihrer bereits fortgeschrittenen Schwangerschaft, etwas grimmig wirkte und auch am nächsten Morgen beim Frühstück kein Lächeln zustande brachte. Dafür war der Koch, vermutlich der Besitzer, sehr freundlich, genauso wie sein fleißiger Mitarbeiter.”

“Bra restaurang med en helt fantastisk vinlista: ca 2000 viner att välja på, i alla prislägen, de flesta från Bourgogne, men även ett fint urval från andra regioner och länder. Vinerna var mycket kundvänligt prissatta så att det var helt möjligt att kosta på sig en Chablis Grand Cru, till exempel.”
