“The hotel is located about 4 minutes away from Sultanahmet Square with the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. There is also a tram stop on the square which whisks you away to Karakoy and further on to Kabatas (where you can get ferries to Prince's Islands). The Grand Bazaar is 12-15 minutes away to walk to, and Tokapi Palace/Guilhane Park are about 6 minutes away. Basically, location is great! Breakfast is simple (some cereals, boiled eggs, chicken, cheese, cucumbers/tomatoes, oranges, honey) but enough to get you through to lunch. My room (307) was an odd shape and small, but clean and comfortable, equipped with a nice powerful shower and no issues with hot water. Really appreciated the complementary bottled-water refills too. Staff were excellent, despite varying levels of English. They were all very kind, very friendly, and very helpful/accommodating.”
