“Short Grab taxi ride to town - ave 5 MR (£1). Loved all the trees and plants throughout the property and the pool was cool and clean. Rooms were big with fridge and tea/coffee plus kettle and were cleaned daily, if required. All staff spoke English. They were also helpful and friendly.”

“Very nice place with lots of greenery around, had a beautiful restaurant area, just to relax and grab some food or drink. Good choice of breakfast. It also had pretty big swimming pool to cool down after daily walks and excursions. The place was pretty far from the city centre, but if you are not in rush you can easily walk there in 20 minutes.”
“Very friendly and cosy accommodation. We stayed in the rooms besides the swimming pool. Last night in the main building. Main building rooms were better, but location close to the swimming pool is nice as well. The guide, Brandon, is wonderful. Sweet, good ideas, kids loved him, ask for the trip to the turtles (expensive, but paradise).”
“The breakfast was absolutely OK. One can choose from cca. 15 hot meals (local and international, I'd recommend to try the local ones). The pool is shallow a bit but OK for kids and a short refreshing. What is fantastic is the staff!! Extremely friendly!! They are REALLY happy to help you in any ways. I must emphasize Brendon, who is an excellent guide. Once you are at the hotel and looking for programs...you should do nothing else but looking for Brendon. He will organise really everything for you. You just have to be flexible, the tours are highly dependent of the weather. We were in a family room which was spacious for four of us, two toilets and bathrooms...convenient. Excellent air-con.”
“Basaga is an amazing place to stay, very relaxing atmosphere and easy to book the tours to discover Bornea. Brandon is the cherry on the cake for your stay, he is a wonderful guide. The garden of Basaga and the garden are a wonderful place to relax and eat.”
