“A great little hotel... entering through a door into a common area and then out to back to a little private space with a beautiful sea view. The rooms are perfect, there’s access to a small beach and it’s just a short distance away from Unawatuna beach. The owner and staff are brilliant, going out of their way to make your stay perfect... strongly recommended!”

“The staff was extremely kind. They even offered us a last delicious Sri Lankan coffee while waiting for our transportation to Galle. The place is quiet, well decorated and has a fantastic view of the ocean. I would recommend to book a room with balcony to take it all in. It is 2 minutes walk from the beach but it has a very cosy area overlooking the sea inside the property: perfect to sunbathe, watch the crabs and spot sea turtles. A shop to rent motorbikes is 5min walk from the property - and so are delicious restaurants on the beach and many roti stands on the street (our favourites! ) There is a beautiful colourful street full of restaurants and shops just 10 min tuk-tuk drive from the property. Beach Castle had 8 rooms in total so if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, that’s probably what you are looking for!”
