“Our six day stay was wonderful. Food excellent, and though we have dined many times in Reid's in the past it was still very special to stay in the hotel. Only complaint the room was too small for the extra large bed, leaving no room to get around it. Next time will have to have a larger room.”

“We booked a comfort room and thought we would only have a Juliette balcony but on arrival found it was a proper (albeit small) balcony with 2 chairs and a side table with glorious views of Funchal, the marina and Atlantic Ocean. The room felt like a mini-suite with entrance hall to loo and bathroom and inner door to the spacious bedroom which had two armchairs two desks, a large wardrobe and mini-bar (all soft drinks were free). The hotel is a 15 mins walk downhill into Funchal Centre, but the hotel has a courtesy bus that runs once an hour. Fabulous breakfast, located by the glorious pools.”
