“We were nicely surprised by the room upgrade we have received. The suite was a nice size and had all the necessary amenities. The hotel is located in a quiet road close to the Teatro Politeama which lies between the new and the old city. A lot of the sites are within walking distance. There is a decent choice of restaurants around it. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet has a varied choice.”

“This hotel is esp. good because it's on a relatively quiet piazza, in a safe and comfortable neighbourhood. We were able to walk to all the main sites very easily. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of eggs, cold cuts, toasts, pastries, fruit, cereal, yoghurt and excellent coffee. Must try: cassata siciliana al forno! There were several good restaurants right around the corner, as well as enotecas for a glass of wine, and supermarket with the freshest most delicious take out food.”
“Even though they needed to have a passport number (which we didn't bring because we didn't know) we had all other ID's drivers license/ codice fiscale/ and others so they accepted it and the whole trip across sicily WASN'T for nothing”
