“I’ve never been to a hotel this close to the sea, literally a few metres from my room! This alone would make the stay worth-while but this hotel has more going for it. The room was of the standard hotel variety. Functional, nice and comfortable. It had everything I needed (coffee, most importantly) and then some, even a little, private spot to sit outside. The facilities outside the room were excellent too and included pool, sauna, gym, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful and the evening meal in the restaurant was excellent! It was also very nice that the restaurant was in three “stages”, in that you could sit inside, outside and somewhere a little bit in the middle - a roofed-in outside space. The hotel was a bit out of the way, but that’s a positive for me. It was close to a marina and a working harbour too so a winner if you’re a ship spotter!”
