“This hotel in the old station looked lovely and was very sympathetically decorated. We were easily able to find parking outside. The greeting at reception was very friendly and efficient. The room was very comfortable and peaceful enough. There were two very welcome complimentary one glass size bottles of wine. The bathroom was impeccable with enough towels and toiletries. Coffee is available in reception at all times. There is also coffee available in the room. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The seating area outside was also very welcome.”

“I love this hotel because it is right next to the railway station! It means you can quickly get to it if you travel by train from Antwerp or Brussels (I often take the Eurostar from London to Brussels, and its just one change of train to get to Turnhout - you can buy a Eurostar ticket that includes onward travel to any Belgian station). If you are a light sleeper you might be disturbed by the trains, so check that you can get a room not on the track side. Breakfast is buffet-style and good value.”
