“The room was basic but very clean and comfortable. The bath filled in no time and there was lashings of very hot water. There was building work going on along the hall from my room which it would have been nice to have been informed about as there were dustsheets that I had to pick my way over. There was no lift (but Holly on reception did offer to help with my case), so guests must be prepared to be able to manage a flight of stairs. The evening meal in the restaurant was very good indeed but my glass of red wine tasted as if the bottle had been open possibly a bit too long; it's a hazard of course when buying red wine by the glass. It took us 10mins to walk briskly into town - so an ideal distance.”
“Our room was not the most modern room or decor but it was clean. The bed was very comfortable. I also enjoyed the biscuits and tea in the room. The pool was nice too. It was easy to find. ”
