“The ideal spot to visit the local attractions. Lovely garden leads to park by river. We saw a kingfisher! 10 mins walk along river to bridge and centre of town. Restaurant is outstanding and very reasonable. Staff friendly and can't do enough to make you feel comfortable. Couldn't fault it.”

“The staff at the hotel (reception, bar and restaurant) were extremely pleasant, helpful and considerate. They made me feel as though I was the most important person in their world. The food (breakfast, dinner and bar food) was of a good standard and well served. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday is by buffet and the there was plenty to eat, on Monday it was a plated service but again there was plenty of food. Dinner was a bit expensive for my budget, but there was a generous serving. The bar food was of a good standard.”
