“The very friendly and helpful staff at this lovely quiet hotel made the stay memorable. The village is simple, with a good local restaurant a stone's-throw from our room's balcony, which also had a great view across the village and surrounding landscape. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, the nice bathroom provided with local products which my Mum was very appreciative of, as she also was of the small pool in the pretty, illuminated courtyard, and the blanket provided by the host when she came out! The breakfast buffet was varied, plentiful and very tasty, with some lovely local preserves etc. I don't think the local area is a major destination in itself although it is very pretty, but it is very well-placed for those passing through or exploring this scenic area with its incredibly attractive and historic castellated towns, such as Serpa which is only a few minutes away.”
