“Fresh look of hotel and restaurant, friendly and hungarian-speaking staff. Its location is close to Gmunden which makes the Bierhotel Almtal the perfect candidate for our longer summer trip in that area. Excellent local beers :)”

“Room extremely spacious but no balcony as shown on booking with booking.com and the breakfast is 7 Euros and not 6 as per booking.com information. Location was excellent for us as we were attending a football tournament which was 4 minutes by car. Views were exceptional. Remote area but suited our needs and a restaurant on site with extremely friendly and helpful Hungarian lady. All staff extremely friendly and the food was good quality and reasonably priced. Beds very comfortable and lovely decor. Cleanliness was very high standard.”

“Sehr freundlicher Empfang, es wurde uns gleich Hilfe angeboten mit dem Gepäck. Wir konnten auch schon frühzeitig in das Zimmer. Für kleine Kinder optimal da hier kein Verkehr (1-2 Autos) ist, somit können Sie spielen. Biergarten war auch sehr schön gelegen (konnten ihn leider nicht nutzten, da wir auf einer Hochzeit waren)”
