“This was our third visit back to Bruges, and the second time we have stayed at the Boat Hotel De Barge. It’s clear that we love the town and the hotel :) I can’t wait to come back already!”
“This was an AMAZING hotel. We loved every minute of our stay. When we checked in the receptionist took time to explain the best route into town and recommended lots of great places to go. Bed was comfortable and our window looked out over the canal so there were ducks right outside which was lovely. We also had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was incredible. We will make sure to stay here when we come back to Bruges in the future.”

“Everything. Location was nice. Breakfast was lovely. Most importantly - Hospitality. Even though we had checked in very late in night the Captain/Owner was kind to drive down and let us check in. We had forgotten some stuff back in the hotel while checking out and the colleague at reception took the time and made the effort to go over and post the stuff back to my address very promptly. It was a wonderful experience !”
“A good location for just a short 10 minute walk to Bruges centre and a nice walk at that. But the the barge is on a canal with a highway going straight over it and overlooks a coach car park”

“Breakfast was good, with cook your own eggs., as well as lovely bread selection, and typical breakfast foods. (Fruit, yogurt, processed meats, cheese.) Room smelled strongly of disinfectant but was clean and provided all we needed. Windows opened so we aired it out. Lovely view of river and ducks. Staff was helpful and warm. There are 7 free parking spots just across the street, great if you nab one. Which we were lucky enough to do. Not sure where you park otherwise. They also allowed us to check in about an hour early which was nice to take a quick break before heading into town. It's about a ten minute walk to the beginning of the center of town. Staff gives helpful directions and a map.”
“room and bathroom small but OK.... Very different kind of hotel stay, but was great for the 2 nights.. Parking avaiable on he road just next to the Barge. Staff were great and breakfast was good”
