“Stefan is a great host. Couldn’t have done more for us. The accommodation is great value. Interesting too and a bit different. But the boat does move a little and can be a little noisy at times! Close to Howest DAE which is wheee we needed to be. Bit of a trek from the station. If that is an issue to consider.”
“Owner is a lovely person - you can feel that he loves what he's doing and he likes people :-) Unique experience - sleeping on the boat, beautifull view on the river, nice small rooms, pleasant bar on the deck. One thing may be a challenge for some people - there's no door in the toilet, so No2 is no go when you sleep with someone in the same room :-)”

“There's an almost irresistible appeal to staying on the water. The Ahoi checks all the boxes as it is a converted barge docked in the centre of Kortrijk. The good side is the novelty aspect and waking up to a view of the river and the town opposite. Just remember that the rooms are relatively small (great shower space though) and the windows don't open for obvious reasons. So travel light and spend your time on deck or in the galley bar. It's an extremely short walk to the main square for restaurants etc.”
“Fab location directly on our bike route. Close to town centre. Very well designed and modern bar area and outdoor lounge on deck. Room was small which was fine but very hot as no fresh air or opening windows available. Superb staff. Great concept and very stylish. Price plus basic breakfast made overall cost at high end for us.”
