We took the delux double room - and got one with a sittingbalcony to the back yard - very nice ! Solothurn is a quiet, charming,peaceful and beautiful jewel, which seems to be less touristic thanothers (we wonder why) - really worth the visit, and the hotel isbrilliantly located within the walls right next to the Cathedral.Saturday morning there's a lovely market all over the main streetsin the old town (and below the hotel) just lovely ! seems like there arevery good restaurants in town - and our feeling was that most peopledining where locals - which added a lot to the atmosphere.we where a bit sorry that we've gotten there only the last night before returning home - had we found out about La Couronne (and Solothurn...) earlier that trip, spending here at least one more night would have been our favorite choice.”
