“Firstly, having unpacked we discovered that the carpet in the room was wet. Bailey, the wonderful staff member on duty, moved us to another room on the third floor which meant another set of steep steps. In that room the TV didn't work. Bailey generously gave us a glass of wine to celebrate news in our country. The young lady on duty in the breakfast room couldn't have cared less about our arrival for breakfast. (no dishes put out, stale bread, no milk etc. until I asked.) However, all this changed when we met Natalie the owner who had the TV fixed and her mother provided an excellent breakfast on the following day. They were both very welcoming and cheerful. We were given two free breakfasts in compensation. On the morning we left at 6am, fortunately Bailey was on duty again. She helped us with our suitcase, gave us coffee and cake before cheerfully waving us off. She is to be highly commended!”
