“Braeside is a gem in the Macedon Ranges. If I could rate Andrew and his cottage at 11 out of 10, I would. We were greeted by Andrew when we arrived, with a fresh loaf of bread baked in the oven, and a range of local products for breafast, including eggs from the hens on the property and his home made granola (which didn't last the weekend). The cottage is very cosy, enough warmth in the middle of winter, with a great outlook over the property. You are only a couple of minutes drive from central Mount Macedon, and very close to all the region has to offer. We have only been back a day and have recommended this fabulous cottage to some of our friends.”
“Our accommodation and the kind attention of our host Andrew made our Family reunion and Mothers' Day celebration at gorgeous Braeside a wonderful and precious memory for all. Everything in the two cottages was of the highest standard, every need was accommodated so kindly and willingly. The gardens were a picture with Autumn trees, and the grand children talking to the chooks and alpacas and running on the grass is a memory I will treasure.”

“Very comfortable cottages with the benefit of a wood fireplace that kept the rooms nice and toasty. Andrew the owner is extremely friendly and hospitable. The property itself has many beautiful trees which turn red during the autumn time. We enjoyed having picnics in the day time and bonfires and star gazing at night time! Breakfast included eggs from Andrews hens, homemade bread and fresh strawberry jam, apples directly off the trees on the property and homemade granola. A wonderful place for a peaceful staycation to escape the city whilst only being 1.5hrs drive away.”
