“The place was amazing and full of character. A great place to get away from it all and experience something different from a normal hotel. The courtyard is a lovely place to relax, and it's just a short stroll down to the small town with several nice restaurants and bars. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the staff were all attentive but unobtrusive in a really nice way. We didn't eat an evening meal, but the breakfast was excellent.”

“If you have ever wanted to live in a castle from a time before electricity, this should be your choice. Tastefully maintained with the right mix of age and modernity (wifi limited to the communal living room with lots of power plugs in each room for all your charging needs), Burg Bernstein is a wonderful place to stay for a few nights to explore the local area. The dinner (extra cost) is tasty, very filling and a great introduction to Austrian cuisine. Not the most complex meal but good quality cooking with tasty fresh ingredients.”

It were an unforgettable two days.The food for breakfast and a dinner is very tasty cooked also high quality, all prepares at restaurant, including desserts. The dinner is served in the big hall lit by candles, the breakfast is served in a courtyard in good weather. The pleasant atmosphere for communication is created by castle owners. Alexander has shown some amazing confidential places of the castle, I won't tell about them))) It is a pity, but we didn't manage to meet "the white woman"))) the Garden around the lock very beautiful. It is possible to admire very long a beautiful view from lock walls. It were unforgettable days!”
