“The hotel was close to the Jirisan park entrance. Hotelcrew was very kind and willing to help you with all kinds of questions.”

“The staff were very friendly and even spoke English well. We were able to rent a grill and grill our own meat. We also enjoyed using the pool tables as well as the ping-pong tables. The rooms were very comfortable. The location is superb as it's almost right next to the entrance to Jirisan National Park. It takes a while to hike up to the start of the hiking trails but it's very doable. At the start of the trails there is a beautiful temple that became one of my favorites in Korea. The hiking up to Nogodan is very difficult (especially in the summer) but it was worth it to see the views from the peak of Nogodan. The pension was also good for children as there were streams with shallow swimming areas nearby.”

“The owners are exceptionally friendly people who will go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. They arranged to pick us up from Gurye bus terminal, even though we arrived at around 11pm, much later than we expected. It's in an excellent location, right next to the local bus station, where you can catch a bus into Jirisan. There is also an entrance into the park which is walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast isn't cheap but it's much better than what is offered at other places - they'll also offer you extra bacon/bread if you're hungry!”
