“View over the bay is outstanding. Five stars for that. Convenient to walk into Kalkan, especially if you want to drink in the evening! Bedroom was light & airy Peaceful - no noise from night clubs etc..”
“Murat and his staff could not have done more to make us welcome. The hotel had a real family feel. The location has to be the best in Kalkan. Totally uninterrupted sea views from every room. From the sun terraces you can touch the sea. Don't be put off by the fact that its a 10 minute walk, theres a free boat trip both ways. Its a perfect location.”
“We loved the totally relaxed nature of the Caretta Hotel and the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Basic Turkish style breakfast (totally adequate). The rooms and bedding were cleaned/changed every other day. An easy 10 minute walk into town with free water taxis during the day. If you are looking for a 5 star, fancy hotel this is not for you but if you want a FANTASTIC relaxed Turkish experience amongst charming people, I would totally recommend The Caretta.”

“Beautiful, amazing location, feels like you are on a ship as the hotel is surrounded by the bay, if you look close you may be able to spot a turtle or two. We arrived at Midnight and without even asking we were offered drinks and hot food. Room was spotless, very spacious with a modern bathroom and amazing view from the sliding doors onto the balcony. The hotel also owns a boat that we had a private day trip on that was worth the money with amazing food. Situated just a 10 minute stroll from the town, it is in a very quiet location away from the bars and nightclub - ideal! This was our fourth trip to Kalkan but our first stay at the Caretta and most definitely not our last. Nothing was too much trouble at this family run hotel. Thank you Murat and the team for a wonderful stay, we wish you every success for the summer ahead.”
“The Caretta is run by Murat and his family. They are so helpful and welcoming. The hotel facilities are simple and clean which is exactly what we wanted. The best thing about the hotel (other than lovely Murat) is the location, I'd say they have the best views in Kalkan.”
