“Don't be put off by the exterior appearance. Beautifully restored. Clean and spacious room. Comfortable common room. Our host checked us in, showed us to our room and made dinner. Excellent location on the Camino to make a shorter last day hike to Santiago.”

“We stayed Casa Grande da Capellania during our Camino de Santiago (Portuguese route). The guide told us to stay in Padron but we wanted a shorter walk for our last day. It turned out perfect in terms of location and we made the pilgrims mass at noon the day after our stay. The Casa is beautiful! Very clean, spacious, warm water, awesome swimming pool... But the best part was Alejandro, our host. He made our stay extra special and gave us tips for Santiago, the rest of the walk, and much more. He cooked us dinner (chicken and potatoes), which was very good and the wine was superb. Couldn't ask for more. Definitely the best stay of our Camino. Thanks Alejandro”
“Restaurant across the highway was great & value for money. Church right beside the Casa was historically significant. Comfy bed and wonderful modern improvements to an old Galician building.”
“This besitiful old solid stone residence radiated relaxation and comfort. The bright rooms were lovely and luxurious and the bathroom, modern. There was a wonderful lounge with comfortable a chairs and couches and books to read down stairs. The manger was particularly helpful and prepared us a delicious dinner in the evening.”
