“Friendliest welcome from Alexander and later from other staff members. ( what a difference from reception at the H.. hotel a mile or so away that we went to to join a tour) Staff friendly, attentive and very helpful at all times. Thank you”

“Great breakfast, comfortable and clean. Staff exceedingly friendly and helpful.”

“Everything! The bed was comfortable; the best sleep I've had this entire trip (3 months). The staff were unbelievable - sincere and kind, and in the morning they even set up a birthday surprise for me at breakfast. The breakfast choice was excellent: yoghurts, fruits, cheeses, potatoes and empanadas, eggs... The shower was amazing and piping hot, the room (at the back of the hotel) was beautifully decorated and quiet, and the downstairs decor was interesting and quirky. Nearby lots of decent restaurants, staff speak English (should you need that), they can call secure taxis or there's a trolley bus stop a few blocks away. Exceptionally secure, as well. We ADORED our stay. Thank you!”

, United Kingdom

“Breakfast was very good, freshly cooked eggs made to order and fresh fruit was available all the time.”

“The reception staff could not have been more freindly and helpful. They did not all speak English very well but that wasn't expected however they tried really hard to understand and help me get around. The accomodation was quaint and very clean”

“We began our trip to Ecuador at Casa Joaquin Boutique and ended our time here. When we arrived we felt like we were coming home. The staff is so welcoming and helpful, they truly make this good hotel excellent! We were looking for something to do our last morning in Quito and the staff suggested the 3-4 hr tour that Xavier Olmos gives. this was one of the best things we did! He was very informative about locations and was happy to answer the many questions I had about Quito and Ecuador.”
